Academic Standing
All degree-seeking (matriculated) undergraduate students (full and part-time) have their academic standing assessed at the conclusion of each fall and spring semester. Students who are admitted in the summer term as their first academic term (e.g., summer Links program) will be evaluated at the end of that summer term, and then only at the conclusion of each fall and spring semester. Subsequently, grades earned during the summer term will impact the student’s cumulative GPA, but will not change their academic standing.
A matriculated student is required to maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 to be in good academic standing. Please view the Academic Probation and Suspension policy for additional information: https://www.keene.edu/administration/policy/detail/academic-probation/.
