Upon completion of the Sport and Recreation Management Minor, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the principles and theories underlying the management of organizational activities such as planning, organizing, leading, controlling and decision making.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the scope of the sport industry, sport culture, current procedures, organization and duties as it relates to sport facilities and organizations.
- Identify key issues in the management of sports and apply discipline-specific theories to solve sport-related problems.
- Gain an understanding of the analysis and reporting of accounting information.
